Complete and fast
 

A number of projects have already been completed using PuriSoil. These soil remediation operations have shown that PuriSoil almost totally eliminates the contamination and does so very quickly compared with other in-situ remediation techniques.
The speed of the remediation using PuriSoil depends on a number of factors such as the level of the ground water, the type of soil, the nature and scale of the contamination and whether there are buildings on the site. 

Saturated zone 

In a project in Rotterdam practically all the pollution with benzene and toluene was eliminated within one or two years. The conditions were almost perfect: almost no buildings, high ground water level and volatile pollution. ROTTERDAM (PDF)

Unsaturated zone

In this project in Geleen there was 579 kg BTEX present at the start of the project. After 18 months there was only 12 kg, and after three years the volume had declined to 0.8 kg. These figures represent elimination efficiencies of 97.9 and 99.9% respectively. PYGAS (PDF)

 

   

Under existing infrastructure / houses
 

Soil can be remediated with PuriSoil under all sorts of buildings and infrastructure. A number of examples are: 

Under railway lines

Soil was cleaned under railway lines with PuriSoil without any disruption to train services. RAILWAYS (PDF)

Under a tank pit

All aerobically biodegradable chemicals
 

PuriSoil can remove all volatile, aerobically biodegradable chemicals.
